images duping items
the +5 darts are created by the cloak. so if you have a few memorized images, you can have the images use the cloak, kill the image, then collect the darts. each image can create 6 darts. a 7th level slot may not be worth 6 darts.
similarly, the book of infinite spells can either cast a spell or turn a page. if you have an image turn a page, you can collect a new book at the next page for every image. this allows several books with several spells to be acquired, without losing any spells. instead, there will be a book for each spell.
this presumably works with all items that 'transform' into another item. the rod of priestly might should fall into this category as well, adding items into images' inventory and then killing the image should result in duplicate items.

Bounty Huntress No-Reload
Hello everyone! I'lle be posting in this thread about the adventures of my halfling Bounty Huntress Nelsy Brightweather:
Nelsy's cheerful and rather naive, with no real interest in power but eager to go out and explore the world and to do good. She hopes to leave Candlekeep soon, and visit Gullykin, the nearest halfling village she's aware of, expecting to learn more about halfling culture and about herself because halflings are a rarity in Candlekeep, with her and her friend Deder being the only ones.
Her personality is similar to that of Alora and Imoen, though below the surface she isn't as carefree, as she's really demanding with herself regarding both morality and professionalism. Although most people are easily taken in by her kindness and good spirits, Nelsy's very cautious in her dealings with other people. She's well aware that she isn't an adept fighter, and magic is as frightening as it is admirable to her.
She's clearly good aligned but outspokenly chaotic. To Nelsy illegal and wrong are not synomymous, and therefore she has no scruples with certain illegal behaviour such as stealing from the rich (in order to give to the poor) or tripping on the black lotus as she discovered when she stole some from a visting nobleman and tried it out one starry night with Imoen, which to the both of them was a life-changing experience. Nelsy is likely to get along better with neutral and chaotic aligned characters, be they neutral or good, than with lawful ones (too rigid/uptight for her taste). Evil is out of the question.
I created Nelsy using the dice for pretty much every characteristic: gender, race, class, kit, alignment. I did however pick her weapon proficiencies (daggers and darts) myself and also gave myself ten rolls for attributes plus the freedom to max out one stat (dexterity being the obvious choice).
As you can see Nelsy's already quite skilled in setting traps (75 points), thanks to the trap revisions mod that I'll be playing with. This mod, as its name implies, changes the trap setting system. A trap's damage output depends on the number of skill points invested in traps (so one could go way over 100 skill points, to get stronger traps). Traps are categorized in different tiers: basic, advanced, expert, master, with master being the HLA traps. Setting a single trap costs between 50 and 2500 gold depending on its tier. The mod introduces a bounty-hunter-only alchemical trap and eliminates the vanilla special traps for the bounty hunter. (It also introduces a couple of class-specific traps: arcane traps for the thief/mage and divine traps for the cleric/mage.) The readme can be found here: http://www.shsforums.net/topic/45268-trap-revisions/.
The mod awards the bounty hunter with 25 skill points in trap setting at character creation. It also gives the bounty hunter three traps at level 1, but it eliminates their vanilla special traps. In my case however I had created Nelsy before installing the mod, so when I imported her I still found she had one vanilla special trap. I could delete that one in Shadowkeeper but I won't as I know traps are going to be pretty much her only trick.
As mentioned in the title, my idea is to play no-reload. Unfortunately there are certain areas in the game where movement freezes all the time, which can severely complicate combat. I might allow myself reloads if I feel the freezing caused or strongly influenced the (negative) outcome of the battle.
I'll be playing on core rules, but with max hitpoints for all characters (protagonist, friend and foe).
Ok off to play now, will post my first experiences later.

Thoughts on evil CHARNAME
I have a confession to make. I have a hard time being an evil CHARNAME. The reason is simple, when it comes to what alignment CHARNAME is its nature vs nurture. You can easily justify it either way. Evil because its your nature, or good because thats how you were raised.
I suppose my problem is I think nurture can trump nature most of the time. That nature is what you start with, but nurture is what you learn over time as you grow. To me, nurture is more powerful and Gorian raised you well enough to tell good from evil and what you should be.
That being said when I do get to an evil playthrough so far I think I can somehow do it by saying that the first person my CHARNAME kills in Candlekeep has a profound effect on him and somehow he becomes obsessed with death as a result. Perhaps Gorion didn't prepare him enough to resist those urges and when they hit him all at once he was overwhelmed. Also, I'll be an assassin who duals into fighter, cause poison is awesome.
That being said, I'd welcome any other thoughts on this. I'm certainly not saying CHARNAME should always be good, by all means play how you want, I'm just curious about how other people's thought processes work when it comes to their character. How do you justify your alignment? I also admit I tend to feel bad when I do evil things even in a video game, and a very silly one too. One I'm sure I can get over.

Dialogue options you really wish the game had.
Playing ToB I find there is more then once all my dialogue options seem nothing like what I'd want to say. For example, against Abazigal I had the options of saying "I WILL KILL YOU BECAUSE I AM GOOD AND YOU ARE BAD!" "I killed your son, hurr hurr" and "I am bhaalspawn I will nom your soul.". Admittingly I'm paraphrasing quite a bit but thats pretty much what I got. Usually my character did his duty, killing only out of a sense of need and not revenge or justice. This made the dialogue feel awkward, however this was fine. I can live with this.
What really annoys me is I can't say "I wasn't even there!" when Balthazar accuses me of destroying Saradash. Seriously, I was off in the mountains trying to get a couple of severed hearts and freeing random slave women who may or may not be succubi!
Does anyone else have little moments like this that seem to cause them an odd sense of annoyance with dialogue? I admit in my case these are minor and easily overlooked complaints, but hey, if you can't express minor and inconsequential complaints on a gaming forum where can you?

Overlooked banters/relationships among NPCs
There are a lot of banters between NPCs that get a lot of discussion - i.e: the enmity between Kivan and Viconia, or Jahiera/Khalid and Montaron/Xzar, or Coran's attempts to woo Safana. But what are some other intra-party relationships that don't get nearly as much attention?
Kivan and Branwen have always displayed a lot of admiration for each other. Kivan will tell her, "Your courage ashames the others," while Branwen will tell him, "You are a strong warrior. I respect that." I always would've liked to have seen a romance develop between these two - I think that they would be an ideal pairing, and we could finally see Kivan move on from the loss of Deheriana.
Faldorn has a lot of respect for Coran - she repeatedly tells him, "You have more wisdom than the others give you credit for." She's probably the only woman on the Sword Coast that ever liked Coran for his wisdom, LOL.
I've seen Coran tell Branwen that she is the most beautiful woman he's ever seen, and that her figure is "too fine to be risked adventuring." I imagine he probably says that to numerous other female NPCs as well.
When outside, Dynaheir will tell Quayle to "stand downwind" from her, because his stench makes it difficult for her to concentrate on casting spells.
Quayle will often make nasty or smartass remarks to Alora, to which Alora will reply, "Why are you so mean to me? I'm nice to you."
Viconia will repeatedly tell Shar-Teel that she is the only one in the party that she admires, but Shar-Teel will always reply, "Flattery will get you nowhere."

Opinions on RPing the following CHARNAME
I want to roleplay a slightly different PC through BG1 to ToB, and I don't really have any experience in playing evil characters. I generally play neutral characters. I won't play a character who's straight up irredeemably evil because not only can I not stand it but also the game doesn't really have the suitable options for roleplaying in the dialogue options given. Anyways:
He's a human Lawful Evil Blackguard, however his powers aren't from a sort of higher power like Dorn's, but
his inherent Bhaalspawn powers developed early on.
.
His attributes are: STR:14 DEX:15 CON:17 INT:11 WIS:15 CHA:18 Total: 90
He's evil in the sense that he has a distaste for letting things like compassion get in his way, but he's not devoid of redeemable traits. He respects honor and bravery, as well as men with the strength to overcome difficulties. He strongly believes in sacrifices for the greater good.
He would respect characters like Keldorn and Jaheira as peers, even though they have opposing ideologies. His favorite NPC would probably be Viconia.
Between a choice of Minsc and Korgan, he sees them as similar; strong fighters with weaker minds who could be useful to him, but he would choose Minsc. Even though he acknowledges Korgan as the stronger fighter, he believes Minsc is more predictable and less likely to be a dangerous enemy if he plays his cards right. He would prefer a party of slightly less powerful men he can trust rather than dangerous but powerful allies. Those with simplistic and shallow personalities such as Minsc he will abuse to the maximum, but he would put himself to risk if they were to be endangered in battle because he does feel responsibility for those he chooses as allies, and the fact that he needs them. If he were unable to stop them from, say, being crippled, however, he would abandon them as they are no longer of use to him.
Does anyone think that this is a good fit for LE or just a very extreme LN? So far I'm considering the following party for BG1:
PC, Minsc, Dynaheir, Kagain, Viconia, Imoen
And for BG2: PC, Keldorn, Minsc, Imoen, Viconia, (space for *******)
I don't actually know if Keldorn will accept an evil PC purely from alignment alone. If he doesn't I'll use Jaheira instead.
In ToB:
He will make Sarevok swear an oath to join. I'm still divided on whether he'd redeem him at that point. My PC may or may not become LN by ToB since I have the Expanded Hell Tests from Quest Pack installed. I know from reading the scripts that Sarevok will refuse to redeem if PC is evil (being a hypocrite and all)
How do you think the PC would act to the following (or would he do it where appropriate):
- Meeting Prism without knowing of his bounty
- Meeting Prism knowing of his bounty
- Killing the Iron Throne leaders
- Allowing Yoshimo to join the party
- Running the Fighter Stronghold
- Working for the Shadow Thieves or Bodhi
- Slavery in the Copper Coronet
- Killing Firkraag or helping him
- The entire Trademeet difficulty
- Hunting Valygar (really divided on this one)
- Killing Saemon Havarian (or trying to)
- Helping either side of the Sahuagin civil war or just killing everyone
- Killing Solaufein in the drow city
- Ascending or staying mortal
Mostly SoA, because imo BG1 and ToB are really lacking in significant alignment RP options.

Bugs
Hello, I'm writing this for the beamdog employees to view.
First off, I'd like to say that I like the new ideas that were put forth into the game. A few new NPC's, few new quests, etc.
Secondly, I'll state it plain and simple: You have taken on an old, basic game. It is not like anything most employees (or players for that matter) are used to. Most people never even heard of Baldur's Gate except for seeing it's console counter-part in a display case several years ago. It's basic, it's easy, and the original version (officially patched) works flawlessly. Leading me to:
My third point. I bought BG:EE about a year ago and it took me 4 tries to actually play it through. I can play through BG1/TotSC pretty easily and with my only frustration being the countless deaths I face on hard difficulty. (I've been playing Baldur's Gate since it was released, I bought BG2:SoA and ToB the night's they were released so I find it necessary to challenge myself.) But what took me so many tries, was the frustration of the countless bugs (and for one of the tries because a bug made the game crash every time I tried to load my saved game). I understand completely. Games have bugs like this... in BETA TESTING. Bugs that literally take it to the point of either not being able to complete a game, or making it mentally exhausting is completely unthinkable once they have exited beta testing and are purchasable.
So, I finally was able to finish, and uninstalled. I figured since it IS an old way of coding, most of your employees not knowing how to add content without there being a slew of bugs would be expected. So I gave you the benefit of the doubt and figured I'd reinstall after awhile to give you all enough time to get it working smoothly. So 9ish months later I reinstalled and gave it another go. It still isn't smooth at all. All of the bugs I faced, are still there. In your logs, you say you've fixed them, but then I go looking on the internet, and all that you've done is when faced with 4 ways to go about a situation, you make 1 work. That doesn't make it smooth. That is half-ass'ing it because you have someone sit on a bug trying to fix it for a week, and they can't figure out how to get it to completely work, so they just do what they can. Understandable, but not when you're promising players that their money was well spent.
At this point you have few options. Either:
A. Start firing people that don't get the job done right. Which no one wants to do, but if you can't do a job, then don't take the job.
B. Start telling customers BEFORE they accept a purchase that it is full of bugs for the time being, and that your company is "doing what they can" to resolve them but STOP promising them fixed because 2 years of lying is unacceptable to anyone, for any reason.
or C. Start from scratch. You're editing old software and trying to make it do new things. Which is why it is hard to do. You can't have your 90's DOS computer trying to run anything even as old as counter strike. It just doesn't work. So you can build a new game from scratch, using new coding, to make it look at work exactly like Baldur's Gate does. Yes, this is very time consuming, extremely even. But as a company you're just giving yourself a bad reputation. The whole "Oh wouldn't this be great? Oh well we've kinda made some mistakes, but we're going to fix them, don't worry!" sounds pretty similar to a presidential election/term.
Remaking the program would not be impossible. Black Isle was a smaller company then you, and had next to no funding. They all worked their normal jobs, then had the second job of making a good, well-built game. The game eventually let them quit their normal jobs because they put real time and effort into it. They were passionate about it. Don't go taking something that someone was passionate about and not do everything you can for it. That's messed up, and quite frankly disrespectful.

So, am I basically screwed?
I'm currently playing the TotSC portions of BG1 for the very first time ever (I didn't buy the expansion for several years after it was first released, by which time I was heavily involved in BG2). I just entered the Ice Island and had a terrific battle with the first group of mages. As you can see from the below screenshot, only half my party survived the encounter (somehow, Viconia managed to hold things together while the rest of my party was either killed and/or magically confused). However, now I'm left with only a cleric (Viccy) and two rangers (Kivan and myself) - no thief, no mage, and still an entire unknown area to explore. I never even identified the wardstone that the guy who sent me on this mission gave me, and now I have no one left who can do that.
I suppose I can try resting and have Viconia memorize a bunch of find traps spells, although I still won't be able to disarm any traps. There's also the fact that I don't think it's possible for me to carry all the equipment of my dead comrades. And besides, I don't even know whether I still have the manpower to stand up to whatever is waiting for me.
Obviously I can always just reload and try the battle again, but I'm trying to reload as little as possible, and besides which I'm proud of the fact that I still managed to come through in this battle after it had seemed hopeless at one point.
Anyone have any advice?

Evil Cleric/Thief no-reload (initially solo)
Hello everyone, after my halfling bounty huntress's abrupt death in Gullykin at the hands of Jenkal, it is time for Teyl Shimmerdusk to enter the stage. Teyl is another halfing but one much darker of heart than the late Nelsy: a NE (shadowkeepered) Strifeleader of Cyric/Thief.
Teyl, unlike his megalomanic and reckless gnomish counterpart Tiax, is a cunning, conniving and calculating figure. He isn't overtly evil or violent nor does he enjoy cruelty or the suffering of others just for the sake of it. He takes good care of his appearance and image, is generally polite to strangers and even willing to do "good" if he sees personal benefits that make his benevolence worthwhile. He has no reservations about making promises or accepting commitments he won't be likely to live up to, if such behavior serves his interests. In such situations Teyl tends to avoid outright lies though, preferring to rely on ambiguity or omission of information in order to manipulate reality in his favor, without having to fear that any blame is going to be pinned on him. His subtlety and seemingly mild manners may not make him a prototypical Cyricist, but his ways might well be the more effective, or so at least he believes.
The presence of such guiding figures of unquestionable moral calibre as Tethoril, Imoen, the priests of Oghma and above all Gorion have given Teyl a sense of morality he might otherwise not have had, but unlike the people that surround him Teyl believes that everyone ought to look after their own interests. Teyl appreciates nature, female beauty, and art.
Teyl isn't a physically imposing figure, even for a halfling. He makes up for this however with his wit, his knowledge of poisons, an affinity with trap setting, and the powers bestowed upon him by Cyric.
His stats are the result of a legit 93 roll (in a best of 100). After starting the game I reluctantly changed the distribution of his stats in shadowkeeper to fit his character better, i.e. lower STR (the original roll was actually 17), higher INT and CHA. The high CON (also original roll) can be justified in part by his exposure to the poisons he experiments with, which has fortified his health. On the other hand I favored Teyl by maxing out his DEX.
Like Nelsy, Teyl will be partly relying on traps to survive, since I'm (again) playing/experimenting with a mod called 'trap revisions'. This mod, as its name implies, changes the trap setting system. A trap's damage output and other effects depend on the level of the trap (not the player). The level is decided by the number of skill points invested in set traps (so one could go way over 100 skill points, to get stronger traps). Traps are categorized in different tiers: basic, advanced, expert, master, with master being the HLA traps. Setting a single trap costs between 50 and 2500 gold depending on its tier. The mod introduces a number of new traps, some of them class-specific, such as the cleric/thief-only 'divine trap'. The trap revisions mod is the main reason I'm playing BGT (rather than EE, for which the mod isn't available as of yet). The readme can be found here: http://www.shsforums.net/topic/45268-trap-revisions/.
I awarded Teyl with a second set trap skill at level 1, one more than a normal thief and one less than a bounty hunter (who gets other benefits besides 3 traps at level1) in the aforementioned mod. I did this so that it actually makes some sense investing skillpoints in trap setting from the outset. (Being able to set only one trap until I get to level 6 as a thief, is little incentive to develop one's trap-setting skills early on.)
I also gave him a set of Shadow thief apprentice armor, which at AC6 gives a +1 AC advantage over normal studded leather as well as a 5% bonus to HiS. I did this mainly for esthetic reasons, as normal studded leather looked awfully light brown on Teyl, who prefers black, and anthracite.
Both adaptations of the original character are slight cheats I'm aware, but by no means game-breaking.
I'll be playing core rules, with maximum hitpoints for all characters in the game.

Best class for a no reload BG1+BG2+ToB
Hey guys,
I have never tried it before but somehow I feel like I want to start a no reload game. Forgetting that it is very likely I will die eaten by a wolf somewhere in the sword coast, just wanted to ask for advice
- what class/multi/dual will make the run easiest from level 1 to 30+?
- any pieces of advice other than always scout ahead and run for my life if necessary? Party size? Potions? Other?
Thanks. I will probably open a thread with the diary entries of my charname but fear not: A lone wolf or that assassin in the friendly arm will make sure I dont bore you guys for a very long time

Need help uploading images to this forum
If anyone can help I'd be appreciative. No idea where to put this post for help.
Trying to upload images to my favorite page on here, i.e. Minimal Reload Challenge..., but it has become difficult now where it used to be easy. I have tried recently changing my regular bmp images to jpeg but this doesn't seem to be of any use. Every NOW & THEN one will 'pop-in' like old times but usually they just sit there, 'uploading' but never actually do.
Images are 800x600, the bmps are 1.37 MB and the JPEG 800x600, 268 KB. I've tried reducing them to 75% too.
Like I said, been doing this for a couple of years or so w/no prob. Computers running like a charm so looking for any tips that might get me back over the top.
Have entries I want to make but like to add images to spice things up a bit.
Any help? Please let me apologize if this post is misplaced or if the topic is elsewhere. I looked but couldn't find anything &...as long as I'm searching I'm not playing BG!

The tales of ElDelBar, a fighter/mage on a no reload run of BG1+BG2+ToB. Very short run.
1st Myrtul 1368 hour 18
About to get ready to leave with father. Crazy day, I still don´t believe what has happened, I don´t think it can get worse than this. I am being expelled from Candlekeep!
Father wanted us to leave the castle. He seemed worried about something. I went around buying some supplies and saying goodbye to all the friendly faces, minding my own business. Then, I was attacked by not one. Not two. THREE people trying to kill me! And before I had even had breakfast!
First two were obviously shady. Once they confirmed who I was, they attacked me. Luckily I had already geared up and they were no match for my battle skills. I should probably not say this but it was impressive. Most impressive. Father has tought me well. I controlled my fear and released my anger. Hmmm... Someone wants me dead, which is what might be worrying father. Why do they want me dead? No idea. It is not like I have ever done anything to anyone!
Anyway, they were not very dangerous. Real problem came with the third assasin. I was just recovering some potions for Pilus, the Oghma priest when a guard came and shouted I was stealing! WTF? I tried to reason with him but he just lurched forward and attacked me. I run out of the carehouse asking for help but he followed. Nobody dared to do anything as he was dressed as a guard. "Not even your father can save you from this" he shouted or something like that. With all the excitement I cannot remember precisely. Seeing he would not stop attacking, I made him sleep with a spell and ended his life, thinking he was just a more cunning assassin and certainly more skilled, judging by his attacks. Guess what? He was a real guard named Cletus. Not the smartest kid in the block as they said, but legit.
Everyone has got absolutely crazy about this. As there are no witnesses of my "theft" and he attacked first, I have not been put to death. However, my exhibition out in the open has attracted too much attention and me and father have been expelled from Candlekeep because some half-witted guard thought I was stealing. Me? Eldelbar? Stealing? Imoen, I can understand. But me? I am an arcane warrior!! I would cry if I wasn´t so angry
Worse part is father does not want to speak to me. He is really angry. He says he believes me but has a look on his face as if something he has feared all along is starting to happen. Anyway, we will have time on the road to get on good terms again. It hasn´t been my fault anyway.
By the way, diary, first three people I have killed in my life. It feels... weird. It was self defense, but still a lot to take on. Hope I don´t have to kill more people.
2nd Myrtul 1368 Hour 7
I don´t even know if I want to write here anymore. Father is dead. Some huge warrior with a band of mercenaries killed him in front of Candlekeep. The only thing I could do was run like a chicken while they slaughtered him. Father managed to kill everyone except the big warrior. He was looking for me and father gave his life so I could hide. They don´t let me come back to Candlekeep but have agreed to bury father. Now I need to go to the Friendly Arm inn and find some friends of father that will keep me safe. That´s what father said we were going just before the ambush. Why would the Gods be so cruel? We were still angry at each other! I didnt have the time to tell him I was sorry. And that I love him. What am I gonna do now? Just need to keep going.
2nd Myrtul 1368 Hour 15
Imoen has joined me, by the way. She just escaped Candlekeep. Think she has a crush on me. Good kid, anyway. She also cried when she heard about father. It is easier to travel with her, it feels very frightening to go alone with that warrior somewhere nearby. We met a couple of morons on the road, a halfling and some human. They wanted us to go to Nashkel. Where the hell is that? Told them we were going to the Inn and they were welcome to join but they insulted us and left. Good riddance. They would probably try to kill me too. That seems to be the general feeling of every single being in Faerun. Just after breakfast a wolf came to the road and attacked us. I got a nasty bite in the leg that might have infected. By chance I had a healing potion and that cured the worst of it. I have a nasty scar, though.
2nd Myrtul 1368 Hour 23
What is wrong with the world?? Going North, I was ambushed by 7 or 8 bandits! No questions asked. No money requested. They just shooted to kill and hit me in the shoulder. Imoen and I run as fast as we could and went behind some bushes. We managed to lose them, although we are totally scared now. It is like the world conspires to kill us. We have made a last stop as Imoen could not walk any longer. We will sleep here and reach the Inn in the morning. I really hope father friends can keep us safe. One thing is to train in Candlekeep and another having docens of people trying to actively kill me. It seems a life ago when I was in Candlekeep laughing with father and learning about the world. Father... Why have you left me? I cannot make it without you.
3 Myrul 1368 Hour 9 Jaheira´s diary
We run outside when we heard the battle noises but it was too late. Gorion´s ward laid on the floor, We made quick work of the mercenary wizard but to no avail. Nothing could be done for ElDelBar. A kid that could not stop crying, named Imoen has told us Gorion is also dead. We must inform the harpers inmediately. This was not supposed to happen.
---------------
Anyway, it was fun while it lasted. I reloaded and killed that wizard guy without problems second time around. He didn´t have time to cast his magic missiles. Unlucky the real time, I guess.

WWE Rasslin' Party
So, being an immature man-child, I'm a fan of both professional wrestling and the Baldur's Gate series. Naturally, that lead to me spending my time at work daydreaming about WWE characters as BG player characters, and ideas for a solid six-player party based on such. Here are a few suggestions, feel free to chime in if you're as pathetic as me. Also, I'm not a TOTAL moron, I know it's all fake. If it seems like I don't I'm... roleplaying, or something.
Undertaker: Cleric of Talos/Fighter. With his dark mysticism and occasional command of lightning, the Phenom is certainly a disciple of the storm god. As a notable fan of boxing and MMA who brought many techniques from these combat sports to the wrestling ring, he's definitely a fighter. Admittedly, dualling to fighter in order to get the Talos kit isn't ideal in a gaming sense, so mods may be required. This renowned locker-room general serves as party leader.
Kane: Blackguard. The demonic brother of out party leader has spent his entire career committing unspeakable acts on behalf of vile patrons, ranging from his sinister adoptive father Paul Bearer to the oppressive Authority.
Daniel Bryan: Barbarian. The "Yes" man's rugged and reckless, fast-paced style and periods of frantic, unstoppable rage make him a definite barbarian and the group's major melee damage dealer.
Bray Wyatt: Fighter/Illusionist. The enigmatic Wyatt patriarch often appears out of nowhere, mysteriously commanding the arena lights to go out before cropping up behind a doomed opponent before pummeling them with blunt-force aggression.
Santino Marella: Jester. WWE's resident clown raises the group's spirits with his light-hearted take on life.
Dean Ambrose: Assassin. The devious lynchpin of the Shield utilises every dirty trick in the book to take down his enemies and is not averse to tendering out his unique talents or profit or advancement.
Cut from the final party:
AJ Lee: Enchanter. The somewhat unhinged beauty commands others to do her bidding at will.
John Cena: Cavalier. Obviously.

Is there a way to mod the Shadowdancer in BGEE to match the update from BG2EE?

BG2 too easy to exploit...a suggestion:
Hello all,
Just wanted to throw an idea out there. I find that this game allows you too easy an opportunity for unlimited gold and ridiculous uber-powerful equipment early on in the game. The way this is done is simply by stacking potions of master thieving to get your pickpocket over 200% and then essentially stealing everything that isn't tied down. Many shopkeepers allow you the option to steal. This can cause such an imbalance in the game that it ceases to be as much fun. Also, places like the Thieves' Guild, Mae'var's, and Roger the Fence(sewers) will allow you to sell stolen goods which pretty much leads to unlimited gold if you steal, sell back, repeat enough times.
With the single potion of thieving you find in Irenicus' dungeon and the ones you can purchase at Ribald's, you can get your (or Yoshimo's) pickpocket up high enough to steal the following(on Waukeem's Promenade alone):
Field Plate(x2)
+2 large and med shield
arrows of biting, and others
80 arrows of dispelling
high level scrolls (including a limited wish scroll which you can use to get a suit of +2 field plate)
all 5 wands from Irenicus's dungeon with maximum charges (sell and steal back)
Ring of Regen(pickpocketed directly off Ribald so I guess this one could be legit...ish)
Then, when you get to the slums, you can clean out the upstairs shop in Galen's house(arrows of acid, potions galore, almost any +1 magic weapon or armor, glasses of ID), Bernard's shop(xbow of speed, sword of flame, high level spells, Blade of Roses+3, Stonefire Axe +3, Sling of Seeking+2, Azuredge)
At the docks, you can acquire from Mae'Var's guildhall: Nymph Cloak, +2 weapons, Bracers of AC6, potions galore including enough thieving and perception potions to last you the whole game.
In the Sewers, Roger the fence has just about every potion you can think of.
In Trademeet, one of the vendors (not sure which) has the +3 acid club(Blackblood), Belt of Inertial Barrier, Cloak of Displacement, +3 Dwarven Thrower, Ras +2, Tansheron's Bow +3, and a Staff of Striking(I think)
In the Ust Natha, you can steal Firetooth +3, potions aplenty, Sentinel(+4 med shield), amulet of 10% magic resist, Rod of Smiting+3, Staff of Earth +2, and many scrolls.
There are probably more I have forgotten but you get the gist.
Overall, these are some of the best items in the game and getting them so easily feels wrong somehow. Now I know it is a choice and I have several times enacted what I call the "code of honor" which means: either no stealing from shopkeepers or limiting it to 1 item per vendor with no option to 3R (re-steal, resell, repeat). However, it might be nice to have the option to either eliminate the steal option from the elite shopkeepers or do not allow you to stack potions of master thievery, maybe as a mod perhaps?...and while we are on the subject, how about an option to lower the treasure from a Monty Haul to a Chincie Charlie? Even playing legit with a code of honor, I eventually hit a point where gold loses it gameplay value because I get so much of it.
Your thoughts?
