Can I?

Take the Baldur's Gate download off my laptop (that will not play the game currently due to the issue) and put it on my desktop. I have crap satilite internet at home and it would take me 15 days to download 1.8 gigs. Plus if I download over 250 Mbytes then they shut off my internet. But the good news there is I can pay $5 to get a token to reset the download so this game would cost something like $60 or so to download.

So can I take the folder off my laptop and put it on this computer and the game work?
