Greetings fellow Baldurians!
As I was debating with myself as to what character class I would choose for my next BG:EE playthrough, I happened to come across this picture of a barbarian-looking female warrior and instantly fell in love with it. Problem solved!

(I just hope that LadyRhian doesn't visit this thread...)
I've also decided that I've become sufficiently curious about the NPC Project mod (and the mod is reportedly largely compatible with EE) that I've decided to give it a try for the first time ever.
In addition, I'm also very much intrigued by @CaloNord 's cleric/ranger mod NPC, Ellyrian (see thread here: http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/32979/ellyrian-the-cleric-ranger-npc ), and I've decided to give that a try as well. Calo has admitted that the mod is still in a somewhat developmental stage, but I suppose that the opportunity to add a cleric/ranger to my party was just too good to pass up.
Shortly after creating a character and beginning a new game, I came across @Pecca 's mod that installs the BG2:EE interface into BG:EE (see here: http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/31069/bg-ee-gui-mods-grey-gui-and-gui-from-bg2-ee/p1 ), so I added that mod to my game as well.
There's also a handful of other mods that I'm considering possibly installing as well, but I haven't made a final decision on those yet.
In the end, I decided to start this thread not only to chronicle my own adventures, but also to showcase some of the hard work that our fellow forum members have put into either developing and/or improving upon mods. Hope you all enjoy!

As I set about rolling my character's stats, I had my sights set on rolling something around 84-86. After only a few rolls, I actually surpassed my goal with a roll of 87.

You can see my character's complete stats and proficiencies below (after restarting the game using @Pecca 's interface mod).

Here's a quick rundown of how and why I distributed my character's stats as they are.
Strength - I was lucky to get an 18 score with /15, which suited my intentions very nicely. With the release of EE, I've moved away from simply powergaming my characters (meaning, maxing all the relevant stats to 18) and focused more on RPing them. Consequently, I've been self-conscious of giving my characters too high strength, because I still want to appreciate 16- and 17-strength NPCs like Montaron and Ajantis. However, as I imagine my character as a tall, Amazonian warrior, I felt that she should have exceptional strength, but be closer to that of Ajantis or Kivan (17 or low 18s) rather than hulking beasts like Minsc or Dorn (high 18s to 19). 18/15 happens to be ideal for me, and with the added bonus of allowing her to use composite bows right out of the gate.
Dexterity - I imagine my character as being very fit and athletic, but perhaps just slightly less than a trained dancer like Skie. Besides, as one of my own RPing "rules," I don't push more than one stat score to the max. So I decided on 17, which is consistent with other well-rounded warriors like Kivan and Shar-Teel.
Constitution - I imagine my character as being very healthy, but at this point, I was conscious of pushing too many of her stat scores too high, and as with the strength score, I still want to appreciate other NPCs who have exceptionally high scores in this area. So I decided on 15, which is just high enough to get a bonus.
Intelligence - As my character's bio states, she had little interest in books growing up. So I imagine that she's just intelligent enough to be literate (and write in a journal), but beyond that, most of her "smarts" scores would be allocated toward wisdom.
Wisdom - Although somewhat lacking in formal education by tutors and books, I imagine my character as still having sensible judgement, but not being "enlightened" to extent of professional priests like Yeslick or Branwen. I decided upon 14 wisdom because... well, no character of mine should be less wise than Garrick! ;-)
Charisma - Despite her barbarian-like nature, I imagine that my character can still be a somewhat persuasive and convincing leader (just look at her picture, after all), so I decided upon a respectable score that would give a moderate (+2) bonus.
I chose a neutral (as opposed to chaotic) good alignment because I intend to play as a good-leaning character, but I typically associate chaotic good alignments with "renegade"-type characters that either have some kind of glaring chip on their shoulder (i.e: Kivan) or are sleazy/douchebaggy in some other way (Coran), neither of which is how I imagine my character. Besides, if Minsc is considered neutral good, how crazy must someone be if they are considered "chaotic"?!
My character's weapon proficiencies were chosen exclusively based on her picture, which shows her wielding a halberd-like weapon (although I think it's actually an exceptionally large axe that requires two hands) and with a quiver of arrows over her back. I know that wielding a 2-handed weapon isn't ideal for a barbarian (who are probably better advised to carry a shield, due to their armor restrictions), but heck, I've never played as a halberd-wielding character before, and I just couldn't resist the lure of it any longer.
