BG2: Mods and How To Wield Them

Heyo,

I just finished BG:EE from start to end an now want to lead my PC through BG2. Sadly I lack the patience to wait for BG2:EE, so I try to get BG2 as close as it gets to being awesomely playable by using the most popular, most stable and most accessable mods available. After reading through some threads and surfing the web, this is the list I have come up with, but I lack the insight to know whether this is workable or will lead to a burning trainweck down the road. I'd be grateful if someone more experienced could look it over and tell me if it's doable or not.

In order of installation:

1. BG2 Fixpack from http://www.gibberlings3.net/bg2fixpack/

3. Ascension from http://weidu.org/Ascension-WeiDU-v1.4.24.exe
4. BG2 Unfinished Business from http://mods.pocketplane.net/UnfinishedBusiness-v19.zip
5. Sword Coast Stratagems II from http://www.gibberlings3.net/scsii/
6. Widescreen Mod from http://www.gibberlings3.net/widescreen/

Does that make sense? Will there be any compatibility issues? Am I missing something or is one of the mods not recommandable?
