Thinking of dropping him off in Firebeard's House for some Investigative R&R while I do the Minsc-Dynaheir rescue [Gauntlets] quest. Not planning to keep Minsc-Dynaheir but my inner critic finds it unlikely that there would be a reasonable incentive for being anywhere near Gauntlets of Dexterity without Minsc in the party.
Core Party in early game: F/M-CG HalfelvenPC, Imoen, Jaheira, Ajantis, Kivan [Imoen>DualMage at Level 4-5]
Then I will let Minsc go to be with Dynaheir. At that point, since this is my first run, I totally don't know whether Jaheira and Ajantis can fill the Cleric hole [Remove Fear!] or whether I should recruit Branwen before heading to the mines. Alternatively I could take that 5 member party on some XP harvesting before returning to Nashkel. I understand that Branwen turns out well when recruited at higher levels so might even try to do the mines without a full party.
The same question applies to Ajantis. Could I give him a breather for awhile and re-recruit him?
