Perhaps a PnP lawyer can advise here but I am curious as to why in BG2 Drow equipment disintegrates? Is there an actual RP reason or was it a balance issue. My reason behind the question is that I am also curious how the Drow could therefore launch an all out assault against their Elven enemies on the surface when some of their best equipment would just disintegrate?
