When people talk about what they like and dislike about Baldur's Gate 1 Enhanced Edition they quite often refer to Baldur's Gate 2.
Like the new areas don't live up to the standards (i.e. are not as creative as) of Trademeet and Underdark.
Or that the personalities of the new NPCs don't live up to the standards of those in BG2.
Is that fair? Should the additions to BG1 that come with BG1:EE be in the spirit of the original Baldur's Gate 1 or the original Baldur's Gate 2 + TOB?
Is it fair to judge BG1:EE by the standards of Baldur's Gate 2? Why? Why not?
